From RK preview in November ShonenJump edition, it seems that Kenshin DOES say OROTM, instead of the OOP, like in the previous preview. Viz' translation also keeps some Japanese names & words, like Hitokiri Battousai, Rurouni, Sakabatou, and Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu. Viz changes the characters 'ou' into ō (same sound), not a biggie, though I still prefer the Japanese spelling.
O well, one less stuff to rant on Viz

My power supply went dead 2 days ago when doing an Aquamark3 benchmark. Stupid crappy power supply, it's not even 1 month old and it's already broken. 2 days without the computer was boring…
I finally managed to borrow a power supply from a friend. I'll have to get a new one on Monday, this thing should still have a warranty, it's not even a month old yet
I'll prolly get a 400W one…
I saw Kill Bill trailer this afternoon. It looks pretty cool. I didn't like the teaser when I saw it a few months ago, but this trailer looks pretty interesting. Many Japanese highschool girls and katanas… and it's a Quentin Tarantino's movie!! One thing I find weird about Kill Bill is… why did they used Lucy Liu to play as a Japanese woman o_O?! Well I'm not 100% sure that her character in the movie is Japanese, but it's kinda seem that way in the trailer.
Speaking about Quentin Tarantino, I love From Dusk Till Dawn (one of his movies), well probably because I have no idea what the movie is about before I saw it, so the the stuff that happened after they get to Mexico was a shocking plot twist for me
.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that Kill Bill will be released in 2 vols, since the movie is too long. The first one will be out on November, and 2nd one on February 2004.

I’ve just installed the Rikai Bar extension for Mozilla Firebird.
The moji project aims to help foreign japanese language learners to read web pages. The main goal is to add lecture guides to chinese characters (kanji), but may be extended later to other useful functions.
When browsing Japanese websites, you can click on the Rikai ja button in the toolbar, and the translations of the kanji/kana words will be shown if when you hover your mouse over the words.

It is a very new project, not even in alpha stage, but it looks really promising. The current version doesn’t translate every kanji words/phrases yet though, only about 50%. This will be very useful when you’re learning Japanese, but still having troubles with kanji characters.

I started doing a characters database site for Katsu: http://www.monkey-pirate.com/katsu/
So far I've put all the characters that have names from vol 1-4 and only a little bit of the site is done. After I finish this (if it will ever be finished), I'm thinking to make a characters database for One Piece. It'll be a lot harder because there are so many characters…
I'm going to buy some computer parts tomorrow for upgrading my computer. It's almost 3 years old, so it's about time get upgraded…
Monkey-Pirate.com seems to be getting more stable now… I'll have to move omanga forum back soon…
