2007 Movies
Spaceman-Spiff January 13th, 2008
My annual (and sometimes only blog post =P).
I feel I’ve seen a lot less movies in the theatres in 2007 compared to 2005 and 2006. Part of the reason was cause my movie buddy moved out overseas. Another reason is cause I worked full time the whole year, and sometimes in the weekends I just feel like staying home and lazying around (watching TV shows or DVDs). I’ve seen a lot more TV shows and Dorama in 2007 than ever before…
Now, let’s round up 2007 movies that I’ve seen.
Fav (Great) Movies
- Bridge to Terabithia
- The Bourne Ultimatum
- Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Good Movies
- Zodiac
- Planet Terror (funniest “horror” movie I’ve ever seen)
- Waitress
- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
- Ocean’s Thirteen (better than 12)
- Sicko
- Ratatouille (I still don’t buy the idea of rats cooking good food, but nevertheless it has a nice story)
- Stardust (good cast and interesting side characters, not so much with the 2 main characters)
- Juno (very funny dialogs)
So-so Movies
- Meet the Robinsons
- Blades of Glory
- No Reservations
- The Simpsons Movie
- 30 Days of Night
- Bee Movie
Bad Movies
- Ghost Rider
- The Last Mimzy
- Pathfinder
- Shooter
- Next
- Spider-Man 3
- Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (better than the first, but still sucks)
- Evan Almighty (they’re trying too hard to make Evan looks like Bruce, but it’s so out of character compared to the original)
- Live Free or Die Hard (crappy plot)
- Transformers (all eye-candy, no plot)
- Balls of Fury (if you’ve seen the trailer, you’ve seen all the funny parts)
I’m still missing a lot of good movies in 2007. Current to watch list for 2007 movies: Breach, 300, Death Proof, Sunshine, Lust Caution, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
