Been following this guy’s TwitPic. Lots of amazing pics.
And in case you’re wondering: yes, these pics were taken from the space.

My 35mm Nikon prime lens arrived today. Took a few quick test shots, all in f/1.8:
I love the bokeh. Sometimes at f/1.8 focusing is hard, object an inch further/closer will be blurry. Got lots of practising to do. I can feel that this will soon be my new fav lens.

I’ve been loving this camera since it was announced and previewed: [1] [2] [3]. Besides the upgrades from the D80, the most attractive feature is, of course, the ability to record 720p video at 24 fps.
I’ve been watching some professional and user-made videos today, and a few of them caught my eyes (click on each link for the HD version):
D90 goes partying |
Pizza with the nikon d-90 |
D90 color-corrected and exposure fixed |
D90 Japanese sample |
Am I gonna buy it? Probably not, at least not this year (my Nikon D40 is only 6 months old). It’s still the first generation video D-SLR. It will just get better and better with upcoming versions. Auto-focus, larger resolutions, longer recording time, stereo sound, etc, etc.

My sister introduced me to this lovely camera. Actually, she didn’t. I had to take over her camera and forced her to teach me how to use it. It’s pretty to use for an SLR newbie (me), and produces very nice images.
