Twitter has 140-character limit for all tweet posts. A lot of people try to maximize the use of this limit, getting as close as 140 characters as possible. However, if you’re expecting people to retweet (RT) your posts, 140-character is not the optimal tweet length.

Google Reader has a very convenient feature for sharing or noting web articles or contents. You can find this tool under Your Stuff:

The functionality is similar with WordPress’ Blog This shortcut/button, but I find this more useful, as I share stuff on Google Reader a lot more often than I blog
.
After putting this shortcut/button on your browser’s bookmark toolbar, you can use it on any web page you want to share. For example, I found this good deal on NCIX sale page. To share this on my Google Reader, all I need is to highlight the part I want to share, then click the shortcut/button.

Good deal!
The Google Reader box pops up on the right corner of your browser page. You can fill in notes there and check/uncheck the option to share the item. After you click Post Item, you can see it in your Google Reader under Your Stuff. There, you can add more comments, email, star, or do anything to it like any other Google Reader item.

What it looks like when you email it |
I also been using this feature lately to email interesting articles I found to friends. Most news websites do provide emailing feature on their articles, but often they come with a captcha field and missing Google’s useful auto-complete contact list.

A great add-on for Japanese learners. It adds furigana to kanji characters in webpages with a click of a button. There’s also a preference to set your level of kanji and to ignore furigana for certain kanji characters (that you have memorized).

Mozilla.org has the older version of the add-on. The project page has the latest version that works for FF 3.

I had Foxkeh Theme installed on my Firefox since months ago. I never used it till today. The menubar is too much for me, but the running Foxkeh animation is really cute.
More on Foxkeh:

My power supply went dead 2 days ago when doing an Aquamark3 benchmark. Stupid crappy power supply, it's not even 1 month old and it's already broken. 2 days without the computer was boring…
I finally managed to borrow a power supply from a friend. I'll have to get a new one on Monday, this thing should still have a warranty, it's not even a month old yet
I'll prolly get a 400W one…
I saw Kill Bill trailer this afternoon. It looks pretty cool. I didn't like the teaser when I saw it a few months ago, but this trailer looks pretty interesting. Many Japanese highschool girls and katanas… and it's a Quentin Tarantino's movie!! One thing I find weird about Kill Bill is… why did they used Lucy Liu to play as a Japanese woman o_O?! Well I'm not 100% sure that her character in the movie is Japanese, but it's kinda seem that way in the trailer.
Speaking about Quentin Tarantino, I love From Dusk Till Dawn (one of his movies), well probably because I have no idea what the movie is about before I saw it, so the the stuff that happened after they get to Mexico was a shocking plot twist for me
.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that Kill Bill will be released in 2 vols, since the movie is too long. The first one will be out on November, and 2nd one on February 2004.
