Here's an attempt at romanizing the titles. While I'm pretty sure of the romaji, the translations were hard... The katakana was confusing, and I think that maybe some of them are characters in Aquarion? (I don't know, I don't watch the show.) Also, for 19, the katakana said "Tanpopo", which either I'm misreading (which is possible, lol) or it's dandelion. What's strange is that I've always known the word for dandelion to be "ta mpopo" but romaji isn't a set system. Actually, it's very very flawed.  Anyway, corrections are welcome. It was just a quick try anyway. edit: Also, on the Victor page, they list the vocalist for track 14 as "Lachow ricz", but I think they meant to type "Lachowicz" (Dorota Lachowicz is a vocalist in connection with Warsaw - so I'm pretty sure it's a typo on Victor's part) 1. If "Toma" is a character, 14 would be Toma's Oracle. 15 I believe is "Ferryboat between the Stars" but I'm not positive.
Tanpopo (Dandelion) is correct. The reason you usually see it as "tampopo" is because the isolated "N" mora in Japanese is often transliterated as an M in English. Hence: Tempura, Famicom, Shimbun. Of course, it isn't always, (otherwise we'd have Yoko Kamno), but tampopo is one of those words that for whatever reason gets the M treatment.

Hmmm, Baron is a character too, so maybe track 6 should be just "Baron and the Sun". I won't give any spoilers, but the "Sun" probably refers to Apolo (the main character), since Apolo and Baron are friends.

Dislike this album so much its not even funny. Not only that, either I completely missed what I wanted, from the only 2 episodes of Aquarion I've seen, among those tracks, or its just not there. Episode 2, when that weird blue lady sings and opens a ortal for the pretty man. (dont know their names ) Anyhow, the only track I liked was the new AKINO track. It really made me smile, and I wouldnt mind hearing a full AKINO/kanno album in the future. |
