Received !!!!! Proof ^^: http://carnetderoutejapon.free.fr/kannoyoko/P1010431.JPGThere is a small book (very hard to read because it is white transparent -_-) with lyrics and track listing. For 0ST4 it says: "Smooth in the Shell (no break disc)" with no lyric or other information... I will listen to it in a few minutes The track is 49:02 long...

Here is the list I made after one listening to the OST4: Smooth in the Shell
1 - 0:00 2 - 4:10 3 - 6:48 4 - 7:53 5 - 10:55 6 - 11:58 7 - 13:31 8 - 18:46 9 - 20:09 10 - 22:47 11 - 26:19 12 - 30:11 13 - 31:11 14 - 32:56 15 - 34:02 16 - 39:35 17 - 41:55 18 - 45:00
The transitions are veryyy smooth, I probably missed some but since I found more than 16 tracks, maybe not ^^. I only saw SAC once last year, so I didn't recognise every track, actually the first track I really recognised was the track 7, a very good music to me. There are totally real breaks at 30:11 and at 41:55 and at 45:00 !!!!Now let's investigate this tachikoma USB... ^^ The Tachikoma musics are the musics used on the short episodes at the end of SAC 1nd serie episodes I think. They are strange and cute at the same time musics... Well actually they are "Tachikoma musics" so I guess it's normal Gabriela Robin is singing on Omake 4, though it's short, it's sooo niiiceee ^^ There are not such interested things on that USB device, but some short musics are not that bad

Just another message to say, "Got mine!"
Anyone check out the files on the USB stick? Pretty disappointing to me, overall. I wanted more Kanno-specific stuff.

I separated the single-track in 16 tracks (I put some quick fade-in or fade-out for some tracks, and it looks like a normal CD (nearly)), I'm not exactly sure of the different separations, I need confirmation ^^ :
1 - 0:00 2 - 4:12 3 - 7:57 4 - 10:48 5 - 13:27 6 - 18:47 7 - 20:18 8 - 22:02 9 - 26:20 10 - 30:19 11 - 31:23 12 - 33:01 13 - 34:01 14 - 39:40 15 - 41:58 16 - 45:17
I think for some musics I'd need to find the episode where it is played to see where the original music ends.

I want to add that I really don't like the packaging at all. The liner notes are practically unreadable.
I'm looking at the front cover and if they had just made the text orange, it would be so much more legible. Orange, Red, or Neon Green would look really cool.
Anyone out there agree?

I definitely see your point, but I am, unfortunately, a lover of all things Kanno...and am enjoying the creative choices in the box set, much as I enjoy the idea of Kanno composing genius works of art while rolling around the floor and giggling... Hard to understand, but delightfully different...lol...

OST4- was ripped. *listening* Edit: the 'smoothness' is (for the most part) far better done than I thought it would be, but I still wish the tracks were completely seperate. Parhaps slightly more accurate timestamps than Yyrkoons. (?) where I'm not sure if it's already a new track or not, or maybe it started earlier. I'm really not sure. xD #01 00:00 (ending of 2nd GIG ep 3 ^^) #02 04:10 #03 06:48 (1st season, when Aramaki got drugged - I HEART Kanno for including this) #04 10:56 (?) #05 11:58 #06 13:31 (remember the so-called "eargasm" track? ) #07 18:45 (2nd GIG ep4?) #08 20:10 (2nd GIG ep13? I don't like the transition to the next track on this one...) (?) #09 22:45 (?) #10 26:18 #11 30:10 (YES YES YES) #12 31:12 (while it sounds like 2 tracks, I'm fairly positive they are one from how they appeared in the show) #13 34:03 (don't care one bit about this, and the transition to the next track could've been better) #14 39:30 (a new mix? of a track/tracks that often appeared in the show...) #15 41:54 (the wonderful 2nd GIG finale) #16 45:05 (was this even in the show?) While there are plenty of great tracks that I wanted (like 01,03,06,11,15) included, they are still missing a shitload of tracks I know I wanted... The no-break format is also not to my taste. I'll ~try~ doing a properly split up version later next week (when I get home to my DVDs). :x

I'll ~try~ doing a properly split up version later next week (when I get home to my DVDs). :x I alredy received a zip version of thiswhile I was asking for a track. I think I can ad something for kacpers identifications. #02 04:10 it was used in the 2 GIG a couple of times. #04 10:56 I'm not sure about this one, my guess it was in 2 GIG #05 11:58 Don't know either #07 18:45 (2nd GIG ep4?) that definietly not episode 4. It was used in later episodes. #08 20:10 (2nd GIG ep13?) not episode 13 either just saw it a few days ago. #09 22:45 This was used quite often in 2 GIG. I'm not sure but perhaps in episode 23. It was usually used when something was big in talking. #12 31:12 Used in first season episode 21. But it was also used in SSS. And you are right. It is one track, but the second half was used separetly sometimes. #13 34:03 2 GIG episode 3. When the Major enters the wault. And the lyrics were never used. #14 39:30 Definietly a new mix. #15 41:54 (the wonderful 2nd GIG finale) GOD DAMN IT, THATS WHY I LOVE YOKO KANNO. #16 45:05 My quess, but perhaps in 2 GIG episode 11. When the Major's past revealed? I hope I aded somethin to it.

If I was home, I'd check in which episodes the tracks played (if at all, since I'm really not sure about the last one...), but since I'm currently at family home... have to rely on my memory.
I'm still pondering about that 'minus' in the name of the OST - stand alone OST4 next year, perhaps? Whatever's the reason and since that would be far far away (lol) one thing's for sure - when I get home next week, I'm getting back to compiling an "Unofficial Collection 2 (by kacpy)". ;P Hope y'all will like it.

I also used my memory. Maybe I listen Yoko Kanno a bit too much. Anyway, one but I think two releases from SAC would be needed to satisfy me. At least 70 minutes of music is still in that great mind f....ing TV series.
